Concentric-Lay-Stranded Aluminum-Clad Steel Conductors
Aluminum clad steel conductors: aluminum clad steel aerial cable, aluminum clad steel composite conductor / overhead wire, aluminum clad steel wire is one bimetallic conductor that aluminum continuous and uniform coating on the steel core, it has both good conductivity, corrosion resistance, high frequency transmission performance and steel strength advantages. Aluminum clad steel core aluminum stranded conductor is the aluminum clad steel wire for strengthening core and aluminum wire twisted together wire, compared with ordinary steel core aluminum stranded conductor, conductor light weight 5%, carrying capacity increased 2% or 3%; power loss is reduced by 4 - 6%; use long life, but also do not increase any installation cost.
 
Aluminum clad steel wire is divided into: 20AC, 23AC, 27AC, 30AC, 33AC, 40AC six groups, the corresponding conductive rate is 20.3%, 23%, 27%, 30%, 33% and 40%IACS.
 
Characteristics of aluminum clad steel wire products:
 
Aluminum clad steel wire has high strength, resistance to corrosion performance is better, with low attenuation and uniform frequency characteristics, noise level is low, can reasonably choose the register length and communication costs of small advantages. Calculation of aluminum clad steel strand tensile force is equal to 90% sum of all the single tensile force, so it has very high tensile strength.
